The Air Quality Forecast Modelling System at BSC-CNS

Welcome to the experimental Web site of the Air Quality Forecast Modelling System in the Earth Sciences Division of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The modelling system consists in a set of atmospheric models (meteorology, emissions, chemistry transport model and natural dust) that currently predicts the concentrations of air pollutants in the domains of the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands and Europe. 

NEW: Resolution improved to 12 km for Europe and 4 km for the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands in the framework of the Caliope project (www.bsc.es/caliope)
