ITIL and DPC Seminars (Santander, May 2010)

The RES (Spanish Supercomputing Network) coordinated by BSC and in collaboration with IFCA (Institute of Physics of Cantabria), organized in Santander during 18th, 19th and 20th May 2010 a Technical Training focused on the implementation of ITIL in supercomputing centers and the energy management and cooling of a Data Processing Center.

Objectives: 

Regarding the first seminar: descripction of ITIL and its associated methods in order to
know them and apply the principles in the RES operation procedures.

Regarding the second seminar: provide the basic knowledge that should be used to design a HPC PDC and know the common procedures that should be taken into account.
